Job summary

Riverton Pointe Golf & Country Club in Hardeeville, SC is seeking a dynamic part-time Pickleball Professional to teach adults and juniors, provide lessons, and run clinics and events. The candidate should be passionate about pickleball and capable of delivering engaging programs.

USAPA Teaching Professional certification is preferred, with strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Evening/weekend availability is expected to support leagues, tournaments, and Open Play

Qualifications

• Passion for pickleball and strong playing ability (4.0+ level preferred).
• USAPA certification as a Teaching Professional or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience in teaching pickleball lessons and coaching players of varying levels.
• Strong understanding of pickleball rules, strategies, and techniques, with a passion for sharing knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse groups.
• Organizational skills to plan and run instructional programs and events.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends for peak times and events.
• Positive attitude and dedication to customer service.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive pickleball instructional programs.
• Conduct private and group lessons, clinics, drills, and workshops.
• Organize scheduling of leagues and outside competitive play.
• Plan and run pickleball tournaments and social events.
• Prioritize Open Play sessions and participate when needed.
• Provide personalized feedback and training plans for players.
• Maintain club ratings for members as requested.
• Stay current with industry trends and rules to enhance coaching.
• Coordinate with manager on scheduling and program development.
