Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Elgin, IL is seeking a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the supervision of a physical therapist, you will help implement individualized plans of care and support patients throughout their rehabilitation.

In this role you’ll assist with treatment programs, document patient progress, and communicate with the PT, Rehab Director, and staff to ensure quality care and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs with guidance from the Physical Therapist.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
