Responsibilities

• Administers direct patient care per physician prescription or other authorized practitioner guidance.
• Submits required documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Maintains progress notes and discharge summaries for assigned patients.
• Responds to department emergency procedures to ensure patient safety and care when needed.
• Participates in quality improvement chart reviews and related activities.
• May attend family meetings or conferences regarding patient welfare and management.
• Performs related duties; all essential functions noted under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
