Sonoma Specialty Hospital in Sebastopol, CA, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide direct patient care under a Physical Therapist's supervision in the Rehabilitation Department.

You will implement treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Eligible candidates hold a CAPTE-accredited education, California licensure, and BLS/AHA certification; no prior experience required. Shift: 8-hour, 2–3 per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current California licensure.
• BLS certification that is AHA compliant.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under supervising PT using PT modalities.
• Execute treatment programs including therapeutic exercise and gait training.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust activities as needed.
• Document treatment and progress in the medical record per policy.
• Communicate patient status with the PT and interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with discharge planning and home exercise education.
