Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation seeks a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our team. Working under a physical therapist, you will assist in implementing patient care plans and providing hands-on therapy to patients to achieve functional outcomes.

You will document patient responses, communicate with the Physical Therapist and rehab staff, and help operate standard PT equipment in the clinic. Previous PTA experience preferred, but we will consider qualified new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
