University Orthopedics in Cumberland, RI is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide for a full-time role. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Cumberland, RI office, with flexible availability between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM as needed across sites.

You will assist therapists in a busy clinic, set up equipment, manage inventory, and help with patient scheduling and EMR data entry while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifikationen

• Interest in athletics to assist patients with drills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with staff, patients and physicians.
• Familiarity with data entry for patient appointments and scheduling.
• Professional, pleasant, neat appearance.
• Solid organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Willingness to travel to all sites when needed.

Aufgaben

• Assist therapists in a busy orthopedic sports physical therapy clinic.
• Set up and manage physical therapy equipment and treatment supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment and upkeep logs.
• Record inventory and order supplies.
• Stock linen for daily and weekly use.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
• Assist with scheduling therapy patients and co-pay collection (if needed).
• Scan information into EMR and book patients in EMR.
• Answer and return phone calls and handle check-ins/check-outs.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Manager to meet department needs.
