Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice physical therapy in the state(s) of practice.
• Board certification is preferred; if not currently held, expected within 2 years of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and delivers physical therapy programs to help patients recover, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent deformities.
• Conducts examinations, evaluations and interventions for patients affected by injury or disease.
• Documents patient information, treatment plans and progress; educates patients and families on treatments and self-exercises.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-appropriate treatments and current research in daily practice.
• Collaborates with sports medicine team and may supervise assistants or students as needed.
