Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and review their medical history and referrals.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction by observing patients as they move.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients in therapeutic massage to ease pain and promote healing.
• Maintain patient records and track treatment goals.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record per regulations.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust services; refer patients as needed.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Communicate progress, barriers, and plans with supervisors and health team.
• Provide discharge summaries per regulatory requirements.
• Document required information in the electronic system and record treatment minutes.
• Participate in required trainings and in-services.
• Supervise PT assistants and students.
