Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Wisconsin to provide direct patient care, assess mobility deficits, and design effective treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain.

The role includes guiding exercises, manual therapy, and therapeutic activities, educating patients and families, maintaining records, and participating in discharge planning and clinical rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program
• Wisconsin Physical Therapy License required
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire
• No prior experience required
• Doctoral or master’s degree (preferred)
• Six months to one year experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with PT treatments to restore mobility and reduce pain
• Assess patients and plan goals using tests and pain ratings
• Revise treatment plans based on test results and progress
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and aquatic/cardio activities
• Educate patients and families about home programs and safety precautions
• Maintain medical records and comply with SPH/HFAP/JC requirements
• Participate in discharge planning and PCC meetings
• Supervise students on clinical rotations
• Ensure infection control and safety procedures
• Maintain equipment and report needed repairs
