Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients and implement effective treatment plans. You will educate patients, perform therapeutic interventions, and educate on assistive devices. The role spans acute rehab, rehab hospital, and outpatient settings with documentation of outcomes.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy and NC licensure; a Master’s is preferred, and at least 2 years of clinical PT experience with NICU exposure is desirable.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist; valid licensure is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; Master's Degree is preferred.
• 2 years clinical physical therapy experience preferred; NICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish effective treatment plans with functional goals.
• Provide patient education and therapeutic interventions; instruct on use of assistive devices.
• Observe, evaluate and document results of treatment interventions; modify plans as needed.
• Work across multiple settings: Acute Rehab Services, Rehab Hospital and Outpatient Rehab.
