Job summary

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning. Requires Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy, Illinois license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to physical therapy.
• Ability to assess and plan treatment based on patient evaluation.
• Strong communication with patients, families and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient's physical and functional status and plans therapy.
• Administers modalities and treatment to improve mobility and strength.
• Performs evaluation tests and documents progress for physicians and insurers.
• Instructs patients on exercises and equipment use.
• Participates in discharge planning and education programs.
