Job summary

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapy License or eligible.
• Current BCLS from the American Heart Association required.
• BA or MA in Physical Therapy required.
• Six months to two years work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to patients, including evaluations and treatment planning.
• Perform patient evaluation and administer treatments; design and revise plans of care and goals.
• Maintain complete and timely documentation meeting unit standards and regulatory requirements.
• Obtain physician orders for evaluation and treatment and ensure proper authorization.
• Supervise aides and PT assistants, PTLA students, and volunteers as applicable.
• Contribute to clinical instruction of affiliating students and participate in education programs.
• Keep current with trends in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation; participate in committees and quality improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation/Occupational Services.
