Qualifications

• DPT degree from an accredited program.
• Active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to establish a baseline for therapy interventions, evaluating their functional abilities and needs.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team, focusing on measurable goals.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities to provide hands‑on treatment, ensuring adherence to the physician’s plan of care.
• Monitor patient progress and effectiveness of interventions, making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers on appropriate exercises, usage of therapeutic appliances, and the importance of adherence to rehabilitation protocols.
• Manage your caseload effectively, prioritizing tasks and coordinating assignments with team members to ensure efficient patient care.
• Participate in regular case discussions and teamwork‑oriented meetings to promote a collaborative approach to patient care.
