Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from accredited physical therapy school.
• Current licensure in the state of applicable state
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures and promotes teamwork.
• Provides patient care assessment and treatment with sound professional judgment.
• Maintains accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes and discharge notes.
• Ensures patient records are kept in a systematic order and documentation is legible.
• Meets departmental productivity standards and contributes to budget and scheduling needs.
• Participates in process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency of services.
• Promotes continuing education and shares clinical expertise with staff and students.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Delivers age/developmentally appropriate care and keeps knowledge current.
