Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital. The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services, including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-evaluation, discharge planning, and documentation to support patient progress.

This role supports program planning, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and contributes to education and community outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• DC licensure required prior to beginning in role.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation services with review of historical information and documentation of results.
• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient presentation; modify plan as needed.
• Complete discharge planning and timely documentation of care.
• Demonstrate time management and productivity; maintain an accurate schedule.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to education and orientation of staff and students.
