Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to join MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital in the Baltimore-Washington region. You will provide PT services including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-evaluation, discharge planning and documentation to a diverse patient population.

The role requires a DC license, a professional degree in Physical Therapy and BLS certification, with a focus on multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• DC licensure required prior to beginning in role.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation services including review of pertinent historical information, performance of specific assessments, and documentation of results.
• Demonstrates proficiency in implementation of treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient presentation.
• Completes discharge planning and follow-up care with accurate documentation and charges.
• Manages time effectively to meet productivity expectations and ensures frictionless patient access to care.
• Participates in quality and service improvement teams, committees, and continuing education for professional growth.
