Job summary

Beacon Health Options is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, develop and revise plans of care, and oversee students and assistants as part of a collaborative care team.

Responsibilities include conducting initial and ongoing assessments, applying standard therapies, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating with the care team to keep patients informed and engaged in their recovery.

Qualifications

• Requires Physical Therapy degree and Michigan licensure.
• Driver's license required.
• Knowledge of standard physical therapy modalities and equipment.
• Ability to supervise PT assistants and students.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
• Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care with patient/family involvement.
• Performs therapy interventions using standard PT techniques.
• Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support staff.
