Job summary

The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC in Washington, DC seeks a Physical Therapist to join our Staff therapy team.

The Physical Therapist administers necessary physical therapy treatment as determined through a comprehensive evaluation process, for patients suffering from injuries or dysfunction of systems including but not limited to the musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, central nervous system, cardiovascular and integumentary systems.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program and active state licensure.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Experience with electronic medical records and computers.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a decentralized team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and document in medical records.
• Perform evaluations to determine individualized plan of care.
• Administer PT treatments to improve ROM, strength and function.
• Use CPT/ICD-10 coding as required for treatment documentation.
• Supervise assistants and students per state regulations.
• Collaborate with other providers to optimize patient outcomes.
