Responsibilities include documenting evaluations, progress notes, and coordinating patient care with physicians and payers as needed. A CPR/BLS certification and active license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy curriculum.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• Licensed and in good standing with regulatory boards.
• Knowledge of Medicare and payer sources.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy to patients according to licensure.
• Directs and supervises assistants, rehab aides, and students as applicable.
• Follows safety procedures for patient safety and personal protection.
• Maintains professional knowledge through continuing education.
• Communicates patient status and needs to the care team.
• Completes documentation including evaluations and progress notes.
