Job summary

Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide evaluation and treatment for adult patients with mobility, motor control and musculoskeletal disorders at multiple San Diego County sites.

The position requires at least 2 years of experience, California PT licensure, CPR/BLS, and bilingual English-Spanish is preferred; travel within the county may be required. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• California State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Current CPR/BLS (or ACLS/ATLS) required.
• Bilingual English-Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats adults with mobility, motor control and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Communicates with Referral, Case Management, Care Coordination, and Scheduling staff.
• Provides home program activities to ensure carryover to home environment.
• Oversees Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure safe, effective care.
• Documents thoroughly in accordance with department standards and insurance requirements.
• Treats patients at multiple clinic sites and in home settings as needed.
