Medical Facilities Of America, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to assess residents' physical therapy needs and match services accordingly.

The PTA will meet residents regularly per the treatment plan and document progress under the Physical Therapist's supervision. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited PTA program, have taken or be eligible to take the NPTE, and hold or be eligible for state licensure to practice as a PTA.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Must have taken the NPTE or be eligible to take it and have state licensure or be eligible to apply for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the needs of residents with physical therapy needs and matches their needs with services available; meets with residents regularly according to treatment program schedule, evaluates and maintains records of progress under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Keeps current with professional literature and attends seminars to maintain and update professional skills and licensure.
