Job summary

The Physical Therapist I at Jefferson Health Northeast evaluates, treats, and plans discharge for patients across acute care and outpatient settings. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize physical, cognitive, linguistic, and swallowing function, upholding Jefferson Health’s mission and values.

Responsibilities include conducting therapy evaluations, developing treatment plans, documenting progress, teaching students as needed, and ensuring safe, evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• 0-2 years of clinical practice preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning and discharge planning for a full patient caseload in acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab and outpatient settings.
• Participate in student education (ICE, OT level 1, or full-time student).
• Plans, organizes and delivers treatment programs for recovery and rehabilitation.
• Documents health progress, daily treatments, evaluations and discharge summaries.
• Interacts with coworkers and staff in line with Jefferson Health values.

Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy

Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy

Doctorate in Physical Therapy
