Job summary

Mandel JCC of Cleveland is seeking a Personal Trainer to manage the fitness floor, assist members, and educate on safe use of cardio and weight equipment. You will perform assessments, create prescriptions, answer wellness questions, and promote personal training packages.

Responsibilities include selling sessions, onboarding new members, conducting outreach, teaching proper form, and supporting program development. Must be team oriented with strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-year degree in fitness field or equivalent certificate.
• Must hold NCCA/NBFE accredited certification.
• Experience in health club training is a plus.
• AED/CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Sell and deliver personal training sessions to clients.
• Schedule and conduct new member onboarding sessions.
• Assist with new member outreach and follow-up.
• Assist members with safe, correct exercise form.
• Maintain a clean, safe fitness floor and organize weights.
• Perform fitness assessments (movement, posture, BP, body comp).
• Support members to meet their fitness goals.
• Develop and implement new fitness programs and classes.
• Administer emergency care to members in need.
• Work as a team with all departments.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
