Job summary

Excel Fitness in Dalton, GA is hiring a Team Player/Trainer to support the PE@PF program. You will design individualized training plans, train members in small groups, and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming gym floor.

The role requires a current PT certification, strong communication, and leadership skills to motivate and guide members toward their fitness goals. Daily duties include using the Planet Fitness app for tracking, reporting to the General Manager, and assisting front desk

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active Personal Training Certification required; recertification process should start 1 month before expiration.

Responsibilities

• Design exercise programs tailored to each member’s experience, medical background and goals.
• Train members during PE@PF small group sessions.
• Keep fitness equipment and club areas safe, clean, and well maintained.
• Log training sessions and attendance data in club software.
• Engage members to drive loyalty to the PE@PF program and promote sessions.
