HarborCHC is seeking a Peer Recovery Support Specialist to provide recovery support, advocacy, and care coordination for individuals receiving substance use recovery services at the Long Beach Health Center. Preference will be given to candidates with lived recovery experience who can foster trust and engagement throughout the recovery journey.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in peer recovery support, SUD programs, behavioral health, or related recovery settings preferred.
• Lived experience with recovery preferred to support clients effectively.
• Experience providing individual or group recovery support services and assisting with engagement and care coordination preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individualized recovery support and advocacy within the recovery journey.
• Assist in coordinating patient appointments, referrals, and insurance-related needs.
• Support development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized recovery plans with the clinical team.
• Administer and track surveys and maintain program records and documentation.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality in all client interactions.
• Collaborate with SUD counselors and care teams to promote continuity of care.
