Qualifications

• State licensure/certification with appropriate endorsements.
• Bachelor’s degree with subject area emphasis or equivalent to be deemed 'highly qualified'.
• Commitment to young people’s learning success and achievement.
• Experience in tutoring/teaching or related education experience; evidence of successful student and parent relations.

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and enforce behavior policies.
• Plan a program of study meeting the individual needs and goals of students; align with state standards.
• Develop and submit lesson plans for review and use feedback to improve instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff to support inclusive practices for students with needs.
• Maintain records and communicate with parents about student progress.
