• Keeps current in subject matter knowledge and learning theory and assists in curriculum revision and selection of instructional materials.
• Develops reasonable classroom behavior rules and discipline techniques; supervises students and coordinates coverage as needed.
• Maintains positive public relations, communicates with parents and the public, and collaborates with staff.
• Pursues professional growth through workshops, seminars, or advanced coursework; participates in inservice training.
• Evaluates student progress using multiple assessment methods and makes instructional adjustments.
