Job summary

Pressley Ridge in Pittsburgh is seeking a Physical Education (PE) Teacher to deliver engaging physical education and support plans for assigned students within our school program.

You will develop daily lesson plans, implement student support plans, monitor progress, communicate with families, and uphold safety and behavior policies while maintaining PDE certification. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires PA State Teacher Certification.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in physical education.
• Requires valid state driver’s license, safe driving record, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily group and individualized lesson plans for each student using provided curriculum and materials.
• Implements Student Support Plans (SSP) in collaboration with the classroom team.
• Develop and implement classroom/behavioral management system; follow school policies and interventions.
• Communicate with parents/home districts regarding student progress and meetings.
