Job summary

LandMark Implement is seeking a parts counter associate in Gothenburg, NE, to sell, receive, and deliver parts and accessories, while providing in-store customer service and merchandising support. The role requires basic data entry, parts knowledge, team collaboration, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

A High School diploma or equivalent is required; forklift license preferred. Training will cover John Deere parts catalogs and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Basic data entry or keyboarding skills.
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge.
• Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
• High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
• Cold calls customers to help increase business and sales.
• Answers the phone and greets customers.
• Must be on the after hour and on-call rotations.
• Delivers parts and does customer visits as necessary or required.
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
• Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.
• Assists in keeping the parts department clean and orderly.
• Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the Parts Manager.
• Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order.
• Assists and/or participates in Parts and Service Expo, Customer Clinics and other internal or external training as required by the company.
