Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY is seeking a Part-Time Security Specialist for our retail facility to ensure safety for staff and customers and protect property. You will monitor cameras, verify IDs, and support daily operations in a regulated cannabis environment.

The role requires 1–2 years security experience, 21+ years old, and ability to comply with state regulations. Strong customer service and proficiency with Word/Excel are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of security/protection experience.
• Preferred: Nightclub, Bar, Jewelry Store, or Event Management protection experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Background check and appropriate state badging.
• Familiar with cannabis industry safety regulations.
• Proficient with office software (Word/Excel/Email).

Responsibilities

• Interact with employees and patients to maintain a safe environment.
• Verify patient IDs before admitting to the dispensary floor.
• Monitor cash pickups and security video feeds.
• Provide exemplary customer service to patients and staff.
• Perform regular patrols around and inside the property.
• Operate under state regulatory requirements.
• Assist in product delivery as needed.
• Audit patient information and batch records for compliance.
• Support leadership with location audits.
• Other duties as assigned.
