Job summary

Los Rios Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for adjunct faculty positions in this pool. These part-time, temporary teaching posts are filled as needed across campuses; positions are open continuously and refreshed every two years.

Adjunct faculty teach assigned courses under the supervision of the area dean and contribute to student success. Courses may include BUS 105, BUS 330, ENTR 301; others at ARC, CRC, FLC, SCC campuses.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Business Management, Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, Marketing, or Business Education; OR Bachelor's with relevant Master's in Economics, Personnel Management, Public Administration, or JD/LL.B; or equivalent.
• Degrees must be from an accredited institution and completed by time of hire.
• Equity-minded focus and inclusive teaching environment expected.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses across the discipline as needed, under supervision of the area dean.
• Help students reach their maximum potential and assess learning outcomes.
• Participate in articulation, curriculum development and college governance including accreditation.
