Job summary

Southwest Tennessee Community College currently seeks adjunct faculty for the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
• Minimum two years teaching in higher education or one year teaching and three years employment in the field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers instruction on athletic training and first aid.
• Compiles, administers, evaluates and grades students' work and communicates progress.
• Develops curricula and instructional materials such as syllabi and handouts.
• Maintains office hours and assists in recruitment and retention.
• Maintains accurate attendance records and FERPA compliance.
• Attends faculty meetings and participates in professional activities.
• Keeps abreast of field developments and participates in conferences.
• Participates in committees and outreach activities.
