Job summary

Assignments are term-by-term and based on openings; qualifications include a Master’s degree in the discipline or related field with graduate-level coursework and teaching experience in higher education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or master’s degree in another discipline with 18 hours of graduate work in the teaching discipline.
• Minimum two (2) years teaching experience in higher education or one (1) year teaching experience and three (3) years employment in the field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers instruction on topics related to sport management and sport administration.
• Compiles, administers, evaluates and grades students' work and communicates progress.
• Develops curricula and instructional materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
• Maintains office hours for student advising and assists in recruitment and retention.
• Maintains accurate attendance and grades in FERPA-compliant records.
• Attends faculty meetings and professional development activities.
