Job summary

Atlas MedStaff LLC. is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Torrance, California. You’ll join a lively post-anesthesia care team, handling pediatric to adult post-surgical, cath lab, and discharge patients.

Shifts run 06:00–14:30, 40 hours per week, five days weekly. Requires 1+ year PACU experience, ideally with ER/ICU background, and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Cerner, Phase II, and discharge procedures experience favored.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of PACU experience.
• ER or ICU background preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications.
• Experience with Cerner, Phase II, and discharge procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in PACU and Phase II recovery after surgery.
• Manage a diverse caseload from pediatric to adult post-operative and discharge patients.
• Assist with transitions from surgery to discharge and ensure smooth handoffs.
