Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Atrium Health Stanly Rehabilitation Services outpatient program with occasional acute care coverage. The role is full-time (40 hours weekly) with a focus on planning and directing PT services, promoting independence, and coordinating care within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required.
• NC license for Physical Therapy required.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and plans appropriate PT programs.
• Provides direct therapy services in acute care and outpatient settings.
• Documents evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Communicates progress to physicians and care team; coordinates schedules and discharge planning.
• Adheres to safety and lifting guidelines; uses appropriate PPE as needed.
