Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, direct, and administer inpatient PT programs in an acute care setting. You will plan and conduct PT programs to restore function and help patients reach maximum independence.

Requires a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, NC licensure, and BLS per policy. Full-time role with rotating 10-hour days, weekends, and holidays, located at Atrium Health Cabarrus - Physical Therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required.
• NC license for Physical Therapy required.
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct therapy services to inpatients 7 days a week including holidays.
• Evaluates patients and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, and discharge plans.
• Coordinates patient schedules and discharges with the care team.
• Communicates progress to physicians and other staff; supervises PTA’s and Rehab Tech/Aide as needed.
