Job summary

Utah Tech University is hiring an executive staff member to support the OTD program on a full-time basis. The role reports to the Program Director and manages administrative operations, budget, and records, with a salary of $40,000–$42,000 and a start date by January 2027.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, or equivalent level of college coursework, required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least two years’ office experience required; higher education experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to learn quickly, meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
• Must be well organized and able to adapt to changing environments and multiple initiatives.
• Ability to interact professionally with administrators, faculty, staff and students.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web research, and email; LMS and website updates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a central liaison with departments and external constituencies for OTD program matters.
• Oversee department budget management: reimbursements, invoices, reimbursements and expense records.
• Provide resources to student inquiries such as financial aid and counseling services.
• Assist in preparing internal/external reports, accreditation, and program assessment data.
• Track admissions and communications with Graduate Studies; send acceptance/denial letters.
• Maintain confidential records and program files; manage software portals for didactic and curricular mapping.
• Coordinate onboarding of part-time staff and assist in marketing, websites, and social media updates.
• Coordinate faculty interviews, hiring, and onboarding for new full-time faculty.
