Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapy services under supervision. You will assist in therapy programs, support patients in daily living activities, and contribute to treatment planning.

The role requires a credentialed OTA with state license if required, and a preference for prior experience. Lifting up to 50 pounds and adherence to safety and infection control policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Credentialed graduate of an accredited two-year Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensed in the practice state if required.
• Prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering occupational therapy programs under supervision.
• Instruct, motivate and assist patients in learning functional skills.
• Observe and report progress to supervising OT.
• Evaluate daily living skills and determine abilities.
• Design and adapt equipment and environments.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs and use of adaptive equipment.
• Document patient progress toward goals.
• Maintain patient relations and adhere to patient rights policies.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and billing records.
• Attend continuing education and staff meetings.
