Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Occupational Safety Health Analyst to support the FAA EOSH program across the Western Service Area. The role requires hands-on experience in safety program areas and travel to sites such as Longmont, CO; Palmdale, CA; El Segundo, CA; and San Diego, CA.

The selected candidate will conduct OSHA inspections, training, and investigations, ensuring compliance with federal and state standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in four or more program areas: Asbestos Sampling, Lead Sampling, Occupational Safety & Health Compliance, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Drinking Water Sampling, and/or Indoor Air Quality/Mold Sampling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%–50% to support seven districts in the Western Service Area.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience OR Master's with 2+ years of relevant work experience; additional experience may substitute for degree.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance; must be a U.S. citizen or eligible permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Take steps to ensure workplace conditions comply with OSHA and state standards; maintain required records.
• Participate in OSHA inspections and follow-up procedures after citations.
• Conduct safety training courses based on work procedures.
