Job summary

University Orthopedics is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team. You will perform comprehensive examinations, establish diagnoses and develop an individualized plan of care, implementing treatment interventions and ongoing evaluations through the episode of care.

You will evaluate patients of various ages with musculoskeletal dysfunction, design and discuss appropriate treatment interventions, document to ensure regulatory compliance, manage patient progress, and assist with

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in RI.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics/musculoskeletal rehab preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented professional with strong time management.
• Willingness to travel to all sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients of various ages with musculoskeletal dysfunction.
• Design and discuss appropriate treatment interventions.
• Perform necessary documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage patient progress through therapy.
• Provide timely and accurate billing information for services.
• Carry out other clinical duties as assigned by PT Department.
• Assist Manager to meet department needs.
