Job summary

ThedaCare is hiring an Athletic Trainer to join the Orthopedic Spine and Pain Clinic in Appleton, Wisconsin. You will work with providers to prepare patients and develop care plans, support injury prevention, and assist with in-office procedures to enhance patient outcomes.

This onsite role requires Wisconsin licensure and BLS. Responsibilities include documenting clinical information, acting as a clinic scribe, and collaborating with physicians to optimize patient care while complying with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or equivalent.
Certified Athletic Trainer by NATA BOC and Wisconsin licensure.
American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

Gather pertinent clinical information and documents to ensure accuracy of medical records.
Coordinate care with physicians to educate on injury prevention and treatment.
Consult with physicians to create patient care plans.
Act as a scribe to improve clinic/patient flow and efficiency.
Assist with in-office procedures to ensure quality care.
Assist with casting, splints, braces, and other durable medical equipment.
Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and staff.
Adhere to state laws and regulations including NATA BOC guidelines and licensure requirements.
