MyMichigan Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive patient care across office locations. You will assess patients, coordinate care with providers, and educate patients on exercises and bracing.

The role requires a Michigan-licensed AT and adherence to OSHA/CLIA and affiliate policies. Under supervision of a provider, you will maintain records, assist with examinations, and participate in training of staff and students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• Current Athletic Trainer license in Michigan.
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
• Experience in sports medicine clinic or university setting preferred.
• Ability to work Monday-Thursday 7:30a-4:30p and Friday 8:00a-12:00p; some Saturdays may be required.

Responsabilités

• Greets patients and/or family, performs routine pre-examination procedures including vital signs and records data.
• Assists provider with examinations and procedures.
• Triages calls, schedules add-ons, relays test results; directs patients for consults/testing.
• Prepares and cleans patient area, maintains equipment, and sterilizes instruments.
• Completes daily documentation for billing and compliance with affiliate policies.
• Provides patient education material including Home Exercise Programs and bracing/casting assistance.
• Documents patient responses and coordinates care with interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinates training for new employees, students, and float staff as required.
• Promotes community education and program development within MyMichigan Health.
