Job summary

Greif Packaging is seeking an Order Picker to join our logistics team in the United States. Under close supervision, you will move, store, and pack materials, operate a sit-down forklift, and verify shipments against orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit down forklift.
• Work in a labor-intensive position that includes lifting, standing, bending, twisting and stooping for 8 hours a day.
• Receive and track shipments.
• Load or unload shipments in delivery trucks.
• Prepare orders by pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Label and stockpile shipments according to size, shape, and type.
• Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items.
• Completes reports by entering required information.
• Routine quality checks on finished products.
• Provides quality service by following organization standards.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
