Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage leasing, marketing, and resident relations for a property. On-site attendance is required, with duties spanning showings, leasing, tours, and paperwork to secure move-ins.

Strong customer service and knowledge of on-site software and fair housing laws are essential. Responsibilities include handling resident concerns, conducting market surveys, and supporting retention programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Property Leasing and Administration
• Regular onsite attendance is required
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour, and sign a lease.
• Close the sale with appointments, leads, tours, and follow-up.
• Complete leasing paperwork before move-in
• Assist with lease audits, walking units, and turn process
• Maintain prospect traffic and respond to leads within 24 hours
• Use marketing strategies to increase traffic and meet leasing goals
• Perform various administrative tasks as needed
• Deal with resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction
• Assist in resident retention programs and events
• Maintain cleanliness of office, common areas, and model
• Assist in annual marketing plan outreach
• Review market surveys to generate ideas
• Maintain knowledge of property and market conditions; weekly survey report
• Customer & Resident Relations
• Provide excellent service and monitor response times
• Present a positive image of the community
• Enforce policies of the community
