Job summary

Northwoods Rehab in Minnesota seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide and direct OT services, including assessment, planning, and documentation under physician orders. A BS in OT, NBCOT certification, and active state licensure or eligibility are required.

You will supervise COTAs and Rehab Techs, conduct patient screenings, develop and adjust treatment plans, coordinate discharges, and participate in community programming while upholding safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Must pass NBCOT (National Certification Examination for OTR).
• Current state licensure or licensure eligibility.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provides and directs occupational therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and documentation under physician orders.
• Conducts screenings to determine need for intervention and initiates referrals as appropriate.
• Develops treatment plans with short and long-term goals and coordinates with team.
• Supervises COTAs and Rehab Techs; participates in discharge planning.
• Maintains safety, infection control standards, and ongoing professional development.
