Randstad USA is seeking a Logistics Dispatcher to coordinate daily freight movements, manage driver schedules, and resolve real time routing challenges in the New York City metro area. The role demands strong organizational skills, reliable communication with drivers and dock teams, and strict adherence to DOT hours of service.

Typical shifts are First shift, Monday through Friday, with pay rates of $24–$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in dispatch or logistics.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Monitor daily freight deliveries and pickups across Long Island and the five boroughs of New York City.
• Direct driver schedules while meeting delivery windows and customer expectations.
• Coordinate with drivers, dock crews, and operations to ensure seamless load outs.
• Utilize dispatch software, GPS tracking, and ELDs to oversee routes.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, mileage, and disruptions.
• Ensure routes comply with DOT safety rules and hours of service standards.
