Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience assisting in the assessment and management of traumatic brain injury or related neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Occupational Therapist in implementing vocational and educational activities.
• Designing and adapting equipment for working and living environments.
• Conducting community reintegration activities for occupational therapy needs.
• Providing training to individuals involved in their rehabilitation.
• Supporting treatment plans by documenting and reporting status changes.

Skills

Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and neuro‑rehabilitation techniques

Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques

Education

Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program

Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification

Current CPR certification
