Qualifications

• Valid teaching certificate/licensing to teach in the specified specialization and grade levels.
• Experience delivering comprehensive instruction aligned with state standards.
• Ability to implement IEPs and collaborate with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement curriculum based on WV Content Standards and Objectives.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
• Deliver and supervise adopted and supplemental academic programs.
• Incorporate 21st century technology skills in instruction.
• Monitor progress toward IEP goals and instructional objectives.
• Coordinate designated co-curricular activities as needed.
• Administer approved formative assessments.
• Plan tiered instruction for reading and math as applicable.
• Maintain professional conduct and classroom management.
