Qualifications

• Experience as a Loan Officer or Mortgage Loan Originator in financial services or banking.
• Familiarity with FNMA guidelines, underwriting procedures, and mortgage servicing operations.
• Knowledge of TILA regulations, Fair Housing laws, and basic math for credit analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in understanding mortgage options and loan programs including FNMA guidelines.
• Originate mortgage loans by gathering financial information and performing initial processing.
• Conduct negotiations to secure favorable terms while adhering to Fair Housing and TILA requirements.
• Collaborate with underwriters, escrow officers, and servicing teams to ensure smooth closings.
• Input data in Encompass or other mortgage software and manage loan pipelines.
• Perform basic math calculations and credit analysis for borrower eligibility.
• Maintain compliance with banking, mortgage servicing, and financial regulations.
