Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking an experienced Loan Officer to join our team and grow a retail book of business. You will work with realtors and borrowers to originate, disclose, and review loan applications while ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, timely communications, and the ability to generate new business through realtor relationships and network activity. An NMLS license is preferred, with base hourly wages plus commissions.

Qualifications

• Current or previous loan officer experience.
• Strong product knowledge of mortgage products and guidelines.
• Energetic, outgoing, persuasive with realtor relationships.
• Proven ability to close loans and negotiate terms.
• Ambitious, adaptable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote Mutual of Omaha’s mortgage products and services.
• Provide exemplary customer service as primary contact for clients and realtors.
• Identify client needs to protect their financial goals.
• Answer questions about applications for all parties.
• Ensure timelines are met and communicated to all parties.
• Gather and review loan documentation and ensure compliance.
